Winter vacation in the Zillertal

Winter is the season when most of our guests come to ski and snowboard in the Zillertal valley, and there is an abundance of slopes in close vicinity of the Hotel Tipotsch. No matter which direction you choose, you have a choice of 5 top ski areas, none of which is more than 15 km away from our doorstep: The award-winning resort of "Hochzillertal-Hochfügen" is a mere kilometre from the hotel and can be easily reached by the free-of-charge ski shuttle that stops right outside our house. You can also easily access the different ski areas at Zillertal Arena, the Hintertux glacier, Penken, Horberg or Ahorn. Once the mountains have been covered by snow, the modern lifts in the Zillertal valley work overtime. Steep and/or wide slopes offer something for every taste and level. 180 lifts and more than 530 kilometres of well-groomed slopes turn the Zillertal into the world’s biggest skiing valley – and all resorts are accessible with a single ski pass, the Zillertaler Superskipass.
