About me: Simon
I am Simon Tipotsch and I have recently taken over the management of our family business from my father. I am very proud, and - if I was to be completely honest - also somewhat nervous to take over the lead from my parents and grandparents. I want to write a new chapter that incorporates my forefathers' values - diligence and true Tyrolean hospitality - that encompass all parts of our business, from hotel to restaurant to patisserie. It feels good to know that I can still rely on my family and a strong team. My mother Margot is in charge of treating our guests at breakfast while my sister Anna is still in charge of managing the restaurant and my best friend Tamara keeps looking after administrative tasks and marketing. And with regards to my father Heinz I can only say: "You may be retired but you are always more than welcome to support me in any way possible.
Hotel Tipotsch reopening
On September 1st, 2019, we opened our new Deluxe double rooms and Panorama double rooms as well as the Turm suites, the Panorama suites and the generous Family suite on the second and third floors. The balance between tradition and modern inputs was very important and so all our rooms are now refurbished in Swiss pine, spruce and oak wood. Each room has its own balcony or terrace and is equipped with high-quality, exquisite fabrics and natural materials.
In touch with nature
It was very important for us to renovate using sustainable, regional and natural materials. All our faucet offer mountain spring water that has been revived according to Grander; we heat all rooms with our in-house ground water heat pump and are proud to have installed CO2-neutral climate ceilings. Throughout the process, regional experts like Tischlerei Klausner in Kaltenbach, Z-Bau Luxner, Elektro Georg, Tonis Fliesen, Installationen Eberharter or Bettenmanufaktur Eberharter supported us with their expertise and their unique craftsmanship.

I would like to thank all craftsmen and architects as well as our staff for their relentless support and all the work they put into the new hotel. We are looking ahead and are proud to be starting a new chapter in our hotel's history - with fresh ideas, yet without compromising established values and traditions.
